9 to 11 am SPEED SOCCER CLINIC
Would-be champions can attend a clinic given by coaches from Quebec’s speed soccer federation and professionals playing at the international level.
10 am to 11 pm FOOD FAIR
Visitors can sample homemade chips and dips by Chips, exotic shish kebabs by Meat Market restaurant and crepes by Crêpe-moi
10 am EVENT MARKING THE 375th ANNIVERSARY OF THE CITY OF TROIS-RIVIÈRES
This is a re-enactment of a trip from Montreal to Trois-Rivières made by the early coureurs-des-bois engaged in the fur trade. About twenty people will make the journey aboard rabaska canoes. After a presentation on fur trading in Canada, the mayors of both cities will see the travellers off amid a volley of musket and canon shots
11 am OFFICIAL CANADA DAY CEREMONY
New Canadian citizens will swear allegiance to their country of adoption in the presence of the Honourable Pierre Duchesne, Lieutenant Governor of Quebec. The ceremony includes a military display, fanfare and 21-gun salute. At the close, participants will join the crowd in tasting the traditional Canada Day birthday cake.
Noon to 7 pm INFLATABLE PLAY STRUCTURES
Twelve different games to play on oversize inflatable structures, including Zoo, Junior Survivor, Big Wave, Princess Palace, Ocean World, Circus Square and Fire Truck. There are also street entertainers, clowns, face-painters and one or two pranksters.

INTERNATIONAL WAKEBOARDING COMPETITION
This a Montreal first! A powerful winch, some ramps and two huge pools each containing 20,000 litres of water. The free spirit of the beach in an urban setting. Spectacular acrobatics by professional wakeboarders, including native sons Olivier Derome, top 5 champion in the world on the pro circuit, and Raphaël Derome, top 5 champion in the world in the junior category (14-18 age group).

CANADA CUP SPEED SOCCER MUNDIAL
An international-level competition presented in an open-air stadium for 3,000 fans, with pop/rock music in the background to add to the excitement. Speed soccer is a fast-paced sport with a kick at the goal about every 20 seconds. The best teams in the world are coming from Mexico, Peru, the USA and Canada
June 30: 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
July 1st: 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
4 pm SKYHAWKS DEMONSTRATION
A 15-minute aerial show featuring the famous SkyHawks Parachute Team. They will perform a 6,000-foot jump and land in the centre of the speed soccer stadium to deliver a tribute to Canadiens hockey legend Yvan Cournoyer

LINE-DANCING
An opportunity to let loose on a dance floor designed for 500 movers and shakers and to learn how to dance the Zorba, Cab Driver, Electric Slide, Tortuga, Que si que no, Techno Latino and Salsa Electro
Throughout the day CIRCUS MAGIC AND FLOATING THEATRE
Performers associated with the innovative circus company Les 7 doigts de la main will entertain young visitors throughout the day at various locations (no set schedule). Kids of all ages can also take in a performance presented on the deck of the ultimate ‘show boat’, Le Loupiote
9:15 pm DANSONS SUR LES QUAIS
Fall under the spell of host Anne Marie Withenshaw and spend 90-minute in a trance at the big Canada Day evening event. Frenetic dancing to mashup music in an enormous open-air disco by the water. Dazzling special effects: 3-D projections, laser beams, giant flames, dancing waters, surface bombs and low-level fireworks. Live performances on two stages: 80 percussionists, Bollywood dancers, a techno-opera diva, guitar virtuoso Stéphane Dufour and Lulu Hugues, one of Quebec’s rockiest rockers
